We are surely passing through a volatile time as the situation around COVID-19 continues to evolve in New Zealand. At this point in time increasing vaccination rate is giving us hope but we would like to emphasize that we are committed to doing everything we can at all alert levels to ensure the safety and security of our customers and team members as it is our highest priority.

We do have a Covid-19 Safety Plan in place in line with NZ Government guidelines.

Check in /out

All customers and all staff are required to wear a mask and maintain 1-meter physical distancing. We follow a No Mask No Service Policy. Reception staff will provide service behind a sneeze shield counter. After check in/out the counter will be wiped down including EFTPOS machine touch pads and other high touch surfaces. In order to reduce direct contact and encourage cashless transactions, we offer remote check in by contacting guests prior to arrival and making necessary arrangements for check in through kiosk/safe, and all payments taken online. We also offer check-out using key drop in safe.

Contact tracing

All customers and staff are required to scan the QR code posters placed in the reception, common areas and in the respective floor. It is advised to use the lift one by one unless you are in one bubble. For customers and visitors who don't use the app, a manual contact tracing register is kept at the entrance. We also maintain guest contact information in the reservation system for contact tracing purpose.

Guest care and hygiene

We are taking measures to maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards with additional measures taken in cleaning and hygiene protocols. Some of these measures include, briefing our team on enhanced cleaning standards, use of hospital grade disinfectants for tiled surfaces and sanitizing all other high touch surfaces. All our apartments offer self-catering kitchenettes and refrigerators and washing machines except for a few rooms. Our apartments have been cleaned at a good level of hygiene and cleanliness before someone is checked in. In order to minimize direct contact at level 2 as much as possible, we will be providing room amenities, clean sheets and towels on request. Please dial reception in case you need knock and drop service. Any required cleaning services will be provided in a contactless way.

Minimizing and managing risk

We have also kept hand sanitizers and messages for social distancing in all public areas, reception, and near stair/lifts on each of the floors. We encourage all customers to use these at all times. Signage from the NZ Covid-19 website are placed in all public areas. All staff are required to use masks and gloves provided. All staff are educated and advised to wash hands frequently and use sanitizers. To manage an exposure or a suspected exposure following any staff or customers showing flu-like symptoms, we will contact Healthline and arrange transport to home/GP/hospital as per the advice from Healthline either for self or managed isolation. We will gather all information of contact tracing and report to Healthline and authorities.

Guest laundry

All customers and staff using the guest laundry will be required to use a mask. We are frequently sanitizing the laundry premises.

Regularly wash and thoroughly dry your hands.
Sneeze and cough into your elbow.
Keep a 2-meter distance from people you do not know.

COVID-19 symptoms

Symptoms can include one or more of the following:
A new or worsening cough, sneezing and runny nose, a fever, temporary loss of smell or altered sense of taste, sore throat or shortness of breath.
